Day of Caring on Wednesday, September 6, 2017

The United Way of the Virginia Peninsula is planning for Day of Caring 2017 on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Day of Caring supports local non-profit and public service agencies in our community by linking teams of volunteers to requested improvement projects. Projects include landscaping, painting, cleaning, repair, and gardening at more than 30 area non-profits and human service providers. United Way Day of Caring is a tradition and a representation of what it means to LIVE UNITED!

Spread the kindness! Anyone can join UWVP's Day of Caring by showing acts of kindness and by caring for others all year long: pass it on with social media post and the hashtags #uwonemoment and #dayofcaring. This year, we can truly make a difference just by caring for the community in a single moment!

Volunteer: United Way always needs volunteers, even more so during Day of Caring. Form a team of volunteers with your co-workers, friends, or family to participate in 2017 Day of Caring on September 6th. No team is too small!
