CHILD DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES
CDR provides holiday assistance to enrolled families with gifts of warm clothing, shoes, books, and toys. Contact lisat@cdr.org if you would like to assist a family and you will be provided information about individual needs. Or you can donate age-appropriate toys, art supplies, gift cards to Target or Walmart, or warm hats and mittens for children from infants to teenagers by dropping off at CDR, 150 Point O‘ Woods Road, Williamsburg by December 12. DOWNTOWN HAMPTON CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
DHCDR  is collecting the following items for their families in need. To arrange for drop off, please email Rachel Kuchta or call 757-825-6200.
1. Non-perishable Food Items
2. Turkeys (to give to our families at Thanksgiving)
3. Books to Send Home
– Age Appropriate Books for Preschoolers
– Board Books for Infants
4. New or gently used child-sized winter clothing
– Coats
– Mittens/gloves
– Hats and scarves
5. New (and not wrapped) children’s toys, ages infant to 5 years
6. Holiday wrapping paper
 
 
EDMARC HOSPICE FOR CHILDREN
The holiday season is gearing up at Edmarc, and we are looking for sponsors! If you are interested in sponsoring a family for Thanksgiving food, Christmas food, or Christmas gifts, please contact Addi Clemens at 757-967-9251 or via email.
 
 
PENINSULA AGENCY ON AGING
Help keep seniors warm. PAA is in need of blankets and/or warm winter items for seniors in the community. To learn more and to drop off information, click here.
 
 
UNITED WAY COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER (CRC)*
We are sponsoring the children at Crossroads Community Youth Home.  These adjudicated teens are easily and often forgotten, and most don’t have families or homes to spend the holidays. Please email cwest@uwvp.org for more information. We ask that gifts be delivered to the Community Resource Center by Friday, December 15th.
