Tax Preparation


The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation for people who make $54,000 or less, people with disabilities, and taxpayers with limited English skills who need help in preparing their own tax returns. United Way has two IRS-certified volunteers who can provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Tax preparation is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and is offered Mondays and Wednesdays between 9am and 3pm.  Limited spaces are available, so please call for an appointment: 757-873-9328, Ext. 12.
