Help for Haiti Earthquake Victims

We all feel powerless during this horrible tragedy and want to do something to help.

It is important to do what is really needed.

According to the Center of International Disaster Information (CIDI), in the earliest days and weeks following a disaster of this magnitude, cash gifts are always best.  With no infrastructure and with the logistical challenges of reaching victims, donations of food, clothing and medical supplies are not helpful at this time, as they cannot be maintained or distributed.

If you want to make a cash contribution...

To donate specifically for immediate relief and recovery efforts, please visit the CIDI Web page for guidelines and partnering organizations accepting cash contributions for immediate help.

You can contribute to more long-term recovery efforts in Haiti, to rebuild lives, infrastructure, and assist with financial, educational, and health-related challenges by giving to the United Way Worldwide Disaster Fund.
