Hurricane Preparedness
What you can do
From June through November, residents of the Peninsula and Middle Peninsula experience what has come to be known as "Hurricane Season."
Unlike many natural disasters, hurricanes are a phenomenon for which, at least to some degree, we can prepare in advance.
Before disaster strikes, take time to prepare your family, your property, and to know what to do should an evacuation be necessary.
